Details of my Diamond Crevasse II costume!

Diamond Crevasse is a beautiful song. I'm really glad the designers gave Sheryl this beautiful design for the movie. It's so fitting for the song!

As usual, I threw in lots of personal touches to this costume, while keeping to the original feel of it. This is version 2.0 of the costume in my earlier pictures!

I met you, the stars sparkled, and I was born.
I love you, therefore I am.
What good is waiting for a hopeless miracle?
Through my tear-filled vision, the planet's twinkle is gone...

This part of the lyrics left a deep impression in me. I envisioned Sheryl, swathed in soft flowing fabrics, an ethereal and ghostly image as she sang her heart out. Tears, like stars, the colors like water; a Galaxy Fairy singing for all the pain the universe felt.

So I hand beaded thousands of sequins and swarovski onto my cape, creating a sprinkle of diamond dust tears across the hem of the cape. It took me 3 full days of non stop beading on the cape itself.

I want the fabrics for this costume to represent emotions : gentle streams of water at rest and a rush of strong waves when evoked.

I glam up Sheryl's ribbon dress by adding lace beaded with swarovski and pearls. A diva gotta shine on stage ya!
I also crafted fabric roses in matching colors for my bracelets as I didn't like the strange wristband thingy the original design was. I wore a delicate silver necklace, a gift from my lovely overseas friend.

The nails!!!

I spent lots of time working on them but they failed me at the convention by taking turns to fall off my nails every hour!! I took them all off before I started heading out to the convention!!

Wow, I just love the colors in this outfit, the fanned skirt looks like wings of an angel! The shoes are so cool. I can go on and on but the sum is you are stunningly beautiful.
